In May, Cloakroom Reserve completed a sourcing request for this limited release on behalf of one of our VIP Members. The request was not simply for a bottle of The Macallan. The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release was created to mark 55 years since the premiere of the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever.
It follows The Macallan’s earlier James Bond 60th Anniversary Release and continues the relationship between two brands that understand the power of detail, restraint and storytelling. Where the 60th Anniversary Collection celebrated six decades of Bond cinema, this release narrows the lens to one film and one mood: glamour, misdirection, elegance and hidden complexity.

The official profile includes polished oak, vanilla bean and rich dried fruits on the nose. On the palate, it opens with layers of creamy vanilla and caramel, followed by cocoa-dusted truffles, coffee, figs, berries, apricots and subtle spice. The finish is long, refined and warming.
